The whole treatment train. One tank.

David Dow is the exclusive distributor for the territory. One vessel replaces the train, and everything downstream of it stays exactly as you already draw it.

RIDEM Category 1 technology

Four reasons it keeps landing on the plan.

Not a new way to design a septic system. The same design, with the treatment train replaced by a single vessel that fits where nothing else would.

Design

Your drawing barely changes

As a Category 1 technology, drain field sizing, loading rates and the configuration of every component following the tank are exactly what you already draw.

Category 1sizing and loading rates unchanged

Install

One hole, one tank, one airline

Contractors call it the easiest single-tank system to put in the ground. Units arrive plug-and-play with no onsite assembly, and take Tuf-Tite or Polylok risers.

Site

Built for the lot that will not take one

A CEN5 goes down narrow access on a mini excavator, between mature plantings and around the features that rule out a conventional train.

Service

A backflush, twice a year

Three dials and a solids backwash: twenty to thirty minutes, no component removal, no hose-down. Denitrification is a dial setting, and there are no timers.

20–30 mina visit, twice a year

The same section, both ways

Try the substitution yourself.

Swap the conventional train for a Fuji Clean tank and watch the right-hand half of the drawing stay exactly where it is. That is the whole proposition, so it is worth doing with your own hands rather than reading about.

The residential lineup, on one page.

The CEN models are the ones named on the Rhode Island approval, certified to NSF/ANSI 40/245. The CE range treats to NSF/ANSI 40 where nitrogen removal is not required. Commercial units run to 6,000 gpd. Ask.

Full specifications, and how to choose between them

Where the ground drains to something that matters.

Rhode Island and the Massachusetts south coast are increasingly nitrogen-restricted, and for good reason: wastewater-derived nitrogen reaches drinking water and feeds the algal blooms that wreck a bay. CEN models are built for exactly that ground.

11.0 mg/L

Total nitrogen returned across twelve Maryland field sites.

<19 mg/L

Total nitrogen, the Category 1 standard the CEN range is approved against.

Fifty years of manufacture, more than fifty staff engineers on testing and product improvement, and the CE and CEN series as the most successful lines they build.
